Red Raider Fan Day This Saturday at the United Spirit Arena

Texas Tech football fans will have their chance to meet the 2011 Texas Tech Football and Volleyball teams from 2 to 4 p.m at United Spirit Arena in Lubbock.

Fans will only be allowed one autograph item at the event to ensure that everyone can get one item signed and no photos with players or coaches will be allowed due to time constraints of the event.

Posters of Texas Tech football and schedule cards will be provided at the event and outside items are allowed to be brought in for the event.

Fans may begin lining up at the northwest entrance of the United Spirit Arena prior to 2 p.m and following the Fan Day the Texas Tech volleyball team will host an intersquad scrimmage and alumni match Saturday afternoon at the arena.

After the 30-45 minutes intersquad scrimmage, the Red Raiders will take on the alumni team, whose roster already features two of last year’s seniors in Alexxa Roberts and Jackie Vincent along with current Tech director of operations Amy Gandy.

Fans are welcome to attend the event as seating will be available along the outside of the gymnasium.
