TCU snapped a 23-game Big 12 losing streak with a 62-42 win over the Texas Tech Red Raiders at the United Supermarkets Arena Saturday.

Kyan Anderson led the Horned Frogs with a game-high 19 point effort and Chauncey Colllins added 10.

The Frog defense, which entered the game No. 3 nationally in field goal percentage (34.5 percent) and No. 12 in scoring defense (55.9 points per game), held the Red Raiders to 22.9 percent shooting and 14 first-half points season-low totals in both categories.

Randy Onwuasor scored 10 points for the Red Raiders. Just four other Texas Tech players had between six and seven points, and the Red Raiders shot 3 of 16 (18.8 percent) from 3-point range.  "Maybe the worst output that we've had here," said Red Raiders coach Tubby Smith, whose team has started 0-5 in conference play for the first time in his 24-year head coaching career. "We missed a lot of easy baskets. Nobody shot over 50 percent. That's a bad day."

Tubby Smith and the Red Raiders will now turn their attention to the Cowboys of Oklahoma State.  Tip off for that game is set for Wednesday night from Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater starting at 8pm and can be seen on ESPNU.
