In a show of support for our nation's military, the Texas Tech football team and Texas Tech ROTC all did 22 pushups after Commissioner George P. Bush issued the challenge via social media.

Drill Instructor  New Texas Tech Strength and Conditioning Coach and veteran Rusty Whitt led the charge in the video, taking everyone, including Kingsbury, through jumping jacks and 22 pushups. Seriously, Whitt is a true bad-ass.

Totaling out all 111 people who participated took the pushup count all the way to 2,442. Impressive.

Commissioner Bush responded on Twitter, thanking Kingsbury for taking the challenge.

It's great to see Texas Tech Football and the ROTC step up and support a troubling cause. If you want to learn more about the 22 Kill Project, visit honorcouragecommitment.org.
