Sandy James came through in the clutch, smacking a two out grand slam in the sixth inning pushing Texas Tech past Texas A&M 8-6.

The Red Raiders were down by as much as 5-0 at one point when Holly Gentsch started Techs rally with a two run shot in the 4th.  Mikey Kelly belted an RBI single, Raven Richardson also had an RBI single on the night. From there it was all Red Raiders as they capped rally with the 8-6 victory.

Tech starter Cara Custer earned the win, giving up all six runs in 6.1 innings of work. Custer is 21-7 on the season for the Red Raiders.

The win pushes the Red Raiders to 35-12 on the season and 8-7 in Big 12 play. The Red Raiders are back in action this Friday with a 6pm first pitch against the Baylor Bears.
