School of Rock Lubbock (78th & Indiana) just announced that three of their very own students have been chosen, out of thousands of other students, for the 2018 School of Rock Allstars. This group represents the top 1 percent of students worldwide, and it's the first time that students from School of Rock Lubbock have been chosen for Allstars.

Congratulations to drummer Tristan Nock of Levelland, guitarist Carson Green of Lubbock, and drummer Biscuit Brown of Lubbock.

If you’re not familiar with School of Rock, it's the national leader in performance-based music education and gives students the opportunity once a year to audition for Allstars. The School of Rock Allstars will embark on a coast to coast tour this summer with the top vocalists and musicians from the worldwide network of schools.

Past Allstars have played at events like Lollapalooza Music Festival in Chicago and the famous Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado. They've also shared the stage with artists like Jon Anderson from Yes, Perry Farrell from Jane’s Addiction, and Slash from Guns N' Roses, so this is a BIG DEAL!

Here's what School of Rock had to say about the historic moment:

“We are extremely proud and excited here at School of Rock Lubbock to have not just one, but three of our own chosen as AllStars for the first time since we opened 5 years ago.” said Amber Beadles, Co-Owner and GM of School of Rock Lubbock.  “Our fantastic music director, Mark Morgan, and all of our wonderful staff are extremely dedicated to each of their students, and work towards the AllStar goal for anyone that wants to strive for this level.  It is rewarding to see the hard work and team work reach this point for these students. Tristan, Carson and Biscuit are incredible students and we can’t wait to see them bring their musicianship and leadership to the AllStars program to take their skills to an even higher level.”

Help us in congratulating these AWESOME kids. Way to represent the Hub City!
