The South Carolina Gamecocks extend their NCAA tournament winning streak to 22 games with a 7-3 win over the Florida Gators. Michael Roth led the Gamecocks, pitching 6.1 innings, giving up seven hits, and three runs.

Gamecocks coach Ray Tanner said, "I know we've had a pretty good run, but it doesn't feel like that. It's kind of like we're getting to play baseball, having fun. Our season has been extended. We just try to play hard and play with some awareness and hope some good things happen. We've had a little luck along the way."

With one loss, Florida is one game away from elimination, and will match up against Kent State to keep their tournament hopes alive. Florida player Preston Tucker knows, "Obviously it's going to be tough, but it's been done before. If anyone can do it, we can."

South Carolina improves to 46-17 on the season, and looks to continue its winning steak on their way to another tournament. The first day of the world series finals is June 24th with the first pitch set for 7pm.
