SportsRadio 1340 The Fan Announces New Lineup; Scott Fitzgerald and Alan Berger Morning Show

SportsRadio 1340 The Fan Announces New Local Morning Show to Start November 28

Starting Monday, November 28, 2011, SportsRadio 1340 The Fan debuts a new more-locally focused lineup.

'The Sports Shack, presented by Design Warehouse', hosted by Scott Fitzgerald and Alan Berger will become The Fan's new morning show. The show will air in the weekday, 7a-9a timeslot.  Scott Fitzgerald and Alan Berger previously hosted The Fan's Saturday morning local talkshow.  Fitzgerald and Berger will bring a new perspective to morning sports radio.

The Fan's original morning show, 'Jack Dale's Sportsline', hosted by Steve Dale, will move to the weekday 11a-1p timeslot.

"We're excited to be adding to our local programming on SportsRadio 1340 The Fan" said Robert Snyder, Program Director for SportsRadio 1340 The Fan. "The listener will be the winner with our changes as The Fan will feature 8 hours of local programming every weekday. Steve Dale is one the original hosts who helped launch SportsRadio 1340 The Fan in 1996 and we're happy that he is the one who will man our new local midday show on 1340 The Fan."

During the announcement of the changes this morning, Steve Dale said that 'Jack Dale's Sportsline' will essentially remain the same, "We're still going to have fun. We're still going to do 'Pick 'Em'. We're still going to have our great guest hosts like Charlie Holt, Kelly Robinson, Rodney Allison and Curry Blackwell.  All that's different will be our timeslot, which becomes 11a-1p."

Dale Harris VP/General Manager of Townsquare Media of Lubbock stated, "We've always considered 'Jack Dale's Sportsline' our #1 show on SportsRadio 1340 The Fan. We're elated that Steve Dale will be instrumental in relaunching a lunch time local show on Lubbock's Sports Leader."
