SportsRadio 1340 The Fan Attends Midland Rockhounds Opening Day [PICS]

Last week, SportsRadio 1340 The Fan’s Mike Dalby, Scott Fitzgerald and Robert Snyder attended the Midland Rockhounds Opening Day against the Arkansas Travelers. The Rockhounds won 8-4 with Jesse Barfield’s grand slam providing half of their runs.

The Rockhounds park, Citibank Ballpark, is a really nice stadium and one of the best places to watch baseball in West Texas and one of the best minor league parks I’ve been to.

Mike Dalby took almost all of our photos at the game, and I really liked the photos of the Travelers pitcher getting hazed during the pregame (Mike Piazza- pictures 4 & 5) and the celebration at the plate after Barfield’s grand slam.
