Most of us remember the epic match up between the New England Patriots and the New York Giants in Super Bowl 42. The New England Patriots came into the game undefeated and were one game away from finishing the season with an unprecedented perfect season. They would have been the first team to do so since the Miami Dolphins back in 1972.

The Patriots were led into the game by league MVP Tom Brady, and were receiving billing as the greatest NFL team of all time.

We all know what happened next.

The Giants came out and played perhaps their best game of the season, and ended up beating the New England Patriots 17-14 to win the Super Bowl.

Here some highlights to refresh your memory.

Now that the match up is set, it's not nearly as epic as it was four years ago. It should still be a good game however. The Giants defense is playing better every week, and the Patriots offense has been lighting the world on fire all season, with big time contributions from Wes Welker and Ron Gronkowski. The Patriots are looking for revenge, and the Giants are looking to prove everyone wrong. The stage is set for a great match up.
