Red Raider Basketball's first game in Kansas City is set to be against Texas on Thursday

According to Odds Shark, the Texas Tech Red Raiders are the third most likely team to win the Big 12 tournament, right behind Kansas and West Virginia.

No. 1 seed Texas Tech had to work hard for it but overcame an early four-run deficit to open the Big 12 Championship with an 8-5 victory over Kansas State. The Red Raiders had lost their previous seven games to start the tournament. The last time Tech won an opening round game in the Big 12 Tournament was in 2005...

The Red Raiders are now done with Big 12 basketball after a 67-62 loss at the hands of TCU. Sunday the 13th is Selection Sunday when the Red Raiders hope to be given a place in the NCAA Tournament.
