TCU QB Casey Pachall Suspended Following DWI Arrest
TCU quarterback Casey Pachall has been suspended indefinitely after he was arrested early Thursday morning on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
Coach Gary Patterson announced the suspension just a few hours after police say Pachall was pulled over for running a stop sign near the Horned Frog’s Fort Worth campus.
“My job as a head coach is to win games, educate our kids and help them with their lives,” Patterson said in a written statement.
Fort Worth police Sgt. Pedro Criado says Pachall’s blood-alcohol level was above the legal limit, but wouldn’t provide specifics.
“He did give a breath specimen which indicated he was over the legal limit,” Criado said.
