Texas A&M got to the Texas Tech Red Raider pitching staff early on their way to a 9-6 victory. The Aggies managed to get to Tech pitcher Cara Custer early, scoring two runs in the first for an early lead on the Red Raiders. Custer also took the loss for the Red Raiders, dropping to 20-7 on the season. Although the Red Raiders kept it close, they could never quite catch the Aggies.

Adriana Perez led Texas Tech at the plate annihilating a three run home run in the 5th that pulled Tech within 2 runs of the Aggies. Perez went 2-4 at the plate, with 4 RBI.

Tech drops to 34-11 on the season, and to 7-6 in Big 12 play.
