Texas’ The Inn at Dos Brisas Named One of the Most Romantic Inns in the Country

The Inn at Dos Brisas, located 40 miles south of College Station, was ranked 10th in a Reader's Choice Best Romantic Inns poll.

USA Today did the poll, and the Houston Chronicle says rates at the inn start at $1,069 per night. In other words, you should start saving up right now if you want to take your significant other there for Valentine's Day.

According to the poll, The Inn at Dos Brisas "features menus using organic ingredients from the onsite farm in an elegant dining room, the center piece of which is an 18th century fireplace from France's Loire Valley."

The Inn at Dos Brisas was the only Texas resort to make the list. The report says it was chosen for its 313 acres of scenic views, romantic settings at the five star-rating the restaurant received from Forbes Magazine.

The resort is Spanish Colonial-style that features activities such as horseback riding, fishing, swimming and even clay shooting.
