Matt Harrison's injury woes continue.  The Texas Rangers ace underwent a second surgery on Wednesday. The surgery was to help repair a herniated disk in his lower back.

Just a few weeks ago, on April 23, Harrison underwent surgery for a bulging disk that placed him on the Disabled List.

Rangers GM Jon Daniels told MLB.com that he expects Harrison to pitch again this season, "I'm hopeful," Daniels said. "We'll just have to play it by ear. That's his expectation. We've got to get him healthy. Once his back is healthy, we can start ramping him up and see what happens."

With Harrison on the DL now until at least August, the Rangers will have to rely on Yu Darvish, Derek Holland and Alexi Ogando to anchor the starting rotation.
