Texas Rangers Beat Oakland Athletics 9-7, Magic Number is now 3

The Texas Rangers beat the Oakland Athletics 9-7.  Ian Kinsler hit a leadoff home run while Mike Napoli also went deep for Texas. 

Matt Harrison earned his 18th victory as the AL West leading Rangers take two games out of the four game series with the Athletics.

Texas now holds a four game division lead over the Athletics with six games to play including three games in Oakland next week to wrap up the season.  The magic number is now three for Rangers to clinch the division.

Texas is back in action tonight to start a three game home series with Los Angeles Angels.  The Rangers will have Ryan Dempster on the mound while the Angels will have Jered Weaver on the mound.  First pitch is at 7:05 PM.
