Three Texas Rangers in third baseman Adrian Beltre, left fielder David Murphy and shortstop Elvis Andrus are finalists in the American League Gold Glove voting.

Beltre received his third Gold Glove since 2007 last season.

The three finalist show the strength of the Rangers left-side as Texas was the only major-league club with a Gold Glove finalist at each position on that side of the diamond.

The Rangers tied with Baltimore and the New York Yankees for the fourth-highest number of finalists. Cincinnati led had six, followed by Atlanta and Kansas City with four.

The awards are voted on by league managers and coaches, with the stipulation they cannot vote for a player on their club.

At shortstop. Andrus is a finalist along with Baltimore’s J.J. Hardy and Seattle’s Brendan Ryan.

In left field, Murphy is a finalist along with Kansas City’s Alex Gordon and Tampa Bay’s Desmond Jennings.

At third base Beltre is competing with Kansas City’s Mike Moustakas and Brandon Inge, who split time between Detroit and Oakland.
