The Texas Rangers Title hopes are on hold for at least one more day as tonight’s Game 6 has been postponed due to heavy rain in the St. Louis area.

The game has been rescheduled for tomorrow with a 7:05 first pitch. The Rangers currently hold a 3-2 advantage in the best-of-seven series.

Major League Baseball officials made the decision earlier this afternoon after a conference call with Rangers general manager Jon Daniels, Cardinals general manager John Mozeliak and others. Game 7, if necessary, will be played on Friday night, with a favorable forecast ahead for those two days.

Colby Lewis is still slated to go in Game 6, with Matt Harrison to follow in Game 7 if needed. Lewis will be countered in Game 6 by the Red Birds Jaime Garcia.
