Josh Hamilton batted in four runs, pushing the Texas Rangers to a 15-9 win over the Los Angeles Angels. Ryan Dempster got kicked around in his Rangers debut, but the Rangers offense did enough that it did not matter. Dempster allowed eight runs and nine hits in 4 2/3 innings of work. His counterpart, C.J. Wilson also gave up 8 runs and 10 hits, making it into the 5th inning.

With the victory, the Rangers retained their 5 game lead in the American League West over the Angels.

In addition to the Rangers victory, they have also been busy making moves, calling up Mike Olt from the minors, and sending Brandon Snyder down to Triple-A Round Rock.

What did you think of Ryan Dempster's debut for the Rangers.
