The Texas Rangers completed a 3-game sweep of the Cleveland Indians last night by beating the Tribe 7 to 4.  Alexi Ogando pitched six shutout innings and got his 13th win of the season.

Rangers Manager Ron Washington talked about Ogando's win to MLB.com, "Competitive juices; he was in trouble, and he worked his way out of it. From that point on, he threw up four pretty good innings. Five, the first inning was pretty good, too. He just had a rough second, and after that, Mike [Napoli, catcher] did a good job of making him use his pitches and started pounding the strike zone."

DH Michael Young hit a 3-run double which put him over 100 RBI for the season. Josh Hamilton hit a homer in his third consecutive game; a solo shot in the 8th.  The Rangers now have a 3.5 game lead over the LA Angels for the AL West.
