Wednesday, Texas Tech Baseball continued their fall practices at Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park. The team has about one more month of workouts culminating in the Red & Black Series in the final week of October.

Last week, the Red Raiders received a national ranking for their recruiting by a national publication. Collegiate Baseball Newspaper ranked the Red Raiders 2013 recruiting class at 27th in the country. Other Big 12 teams included in the rankings are: Oklahoma State 5th, Texas 6th, Oklahoma 19th & TCU 28th. Tech's recruiting class features 19 newcomers (10 transfers & nine freshmen).

Texas Tech Baseball will start its 2014 non-conference schedule in February with Big 12 Conference play beginning March 14, 2014 at Baylor. Over 35 players are in Fall practices for the Red Raiders.
