The Texas Tech Red Raiders got back on the winning track, taking down D2 opponent Angelo State 13-8. The Red Raiders hope to continue the success they have had all season at home, 14-4 on the season, as they continue their ten game homestand.

The Red Raiders got off to a rocky start as they trailed Angelo State 5-2 going into the bottom of the third. Tech's offense exploded scoring 8 runs on 7 hits in the bottom of the third to take a 10-5 lead over Angelo State. Jamodrick McGruder, Barret Barnes, Bo Altobelli, and Scott LeJeune lead the way for the Red Raiders offense, each recording multi hit games.

Tech Reliever Jerad McCrummen got his first win of the season pitching 3.2 scoreless innings, without allowing a hit or a walk and striking out 1.
