The Texas Tech Red Raider Baseball team will host the 25th ranked Texas Longhorns for a three-game series beginning Thursday at 6:30 p.m. from Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park.

Texas Tech continues their longest homestand of the season (10 games) after defeating NCAA D-II Angelo State, 13-8, Tuesday evening.

The Red Raiders are 14-4 at home this season while the Longhorns are coming off two losses in a three-game series with Cal and are 5-4 this year on the road.

Overall on the season the Texas Tech is 17-13, 2-7 in conference play. Texas enters the series 15-11 on the year and 5-1 in the Big 12.

Texas Tech and Texas will continue the series Friday at 6:37 p.m. and will conclude Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
