The Texas Tech baseball program received a #13 ranking for its 2014 recruiting class by Collegiate Baseball, the publication announced Monday. The ranking matches the program's highest in school history (2000).  It marks the second straight season that head coach Tim Tadlock, recruiting coordinator J-Bob Thomas, pitching coach Ray Hayward and director of baseball operations Joe Hughes have had a recruiting class that came in ranked in the top 30 in the country by Collegiate Baseball.

Coach Tadlock and company are coming off the best season in the Texas Tech baseball program's history finishing the season with a 45-21 record along with reaching the College World Series for the first time ever.  They were eliminated in their first two games by TCU and Ole Miss.
