Texas Tech Baseball returns to the diamond tonight as they host the New Mexico State Aggies. The Red Raiders broke a nine-game losing streak and won their first game in the month of April on Sunday defeating the Kansas Jayhawks 16-5.

Freshman right-hander Matt Writhrow starts tonight for the Red Raiders, first pitch is set for 6 p.m. from Rip Griffin Park. Withrow is 2-3 this season with a 6.88 ERA.

The Aggies send lefty Christopher Bradley to start tonight. Bradley makes his 4-3 this season with a 3.71 ERA in 19 starts.

New Mexico State won the first game of the season series with the Red Raiders a 7-6 win in Las Cruces back in March.

The Aggies are 23-18 on the season and winners of four of their last five games. Tech and New Mexico State split the season series last year with both teams winning on the road.
