Texas Tech Baseball Searching for Answers to Stop Losing Streak
Texas Tech Baseball is searching for answers as they continue to go winless in the month of April.
The Red Raiders are currently on a seven-game losing streak and have lost 11 of their last 12 games. Tech hosts the 4th place Kansas Jayhawks this weekend in a Big 12 Conference series. First pitch from Rip Griffin Park is set for 6:37 on FOX College Sports.
The Red Raiders team that has struggled to generate runs scoring only 28 runs during the losing streak.and recently during the losing streak to pitch effectively.
Dominic Moreno is expected to pitch Friday night against the Jayhawks (22-14, 7-5 Big 12) to turn around a pitching staff that has given up 70 runs during the losing streak.
Trey Masek is expected to make his second start Saturday against the Jayhawks since returning from injury and will look to bounce back from his worst outing on the season giving three runs in three innings of work against Lubbock Christian on Sunday.
