Texas Tech Baseball won its second straight game last night after starting the month of April winless.

The Red Raiders defeated the New Mexico State Aggies 6-1 behind a strong 4 2/3 innings of relief from the Tech bullpen. Brett Bell led Texas Tech at the plate going 2 for 3 with a RBI. Tech improves to 19-22 on the season while New Mexico State falls to 23-19.

Matt Withrow threw 4 1/3 innings to start the game with three walks and four hits, but did not give up any runs in the no-decision. Andre Wheeler earned the win throwing 1 2/3 innings of relief.

Texas Tech next takes on the Oklahoma Sooners this weekend for a three-game series.
