Texas Tech Baseball Takes on Defending National Champion Arizona in Midweek Series

Texas Tech Red Raider Baseball used a pair of shutouts over the weekend to power past the LaSalle Explorers.
The Red Raiders used shutouts of 3-0 on Saturday and 7-0 on Sunday to improve their record to 7-5 on the season. Red Raider Ace pitcher Trey Masek threw a complete game shutout on Saturday and Matt Withrow threw 7 shutout innings Sunday to power Tech to the series win after dropping the Friday night game 6-5 in 12 innings.
Texas Tech hits the road tomorrow for a two-game midweek trip to face the No.10 Arizona Wildcats. Arizona is the defending National Champions.
Texas Tech plays the Wildcats Tuesday and Wednesday in Tucson.
