Texas Tech Baseball takes on Texas in Austin to Open Big 12 Conference Play

Texas Tech Red Raider Baseball opens Big 12 Conference play today as they start a three-game series with the Texas Longhorns.

First pitch from Austin at Disch Falk Field tonight is set for 6:35. Dominic Moreno takes the mound for the Red Raiders opposite Parker French for the Longhorns.

The series continues with a 2 p.m. game Saturday and a 1 p.m. game on Sunday. This is the Big 12 Conference opener for both teams who have had early season struggles. Tech and Texas both had four game losing streaks.

The Red Raiders are 12-7 on the season and winners 4 of their last 5 games. Texas is 11-5 on the season and winners of the their last 5 games.
