The Texas Tech baseball team released their schedule about a week ago as the team is coming off their most successful season in school history.  The Red Raiders, who are coming off their first appearance at the College World Series, open the season with 13 of their first 14 games at home during the first three weeks of the season.  Tech welcomes San Francisco on opening weekend on February 13-15, for four games while Opening Day is scheduled for Friday, February 13th against the Dons with a 2 pm first pitch.

"We welcome the challenge of playing in what we think is the best baseball conference in the country," Tadlock said.  "Our non-conference slate will be a challenge from Opening Day until Game 56.  We understand the bar has been set higher than ever before and welcome the challenge of receiving everyone's best shot.  We feel like our fans are the best in the country.  We have spoken to many people around Lubbock who have shared that they have purchased season ticket packages for their family for the first time.  That is what it's all about, sharing our program's success with our fans.  Our team and staff want our fans to know that every voice and body makes a difference."

Tim Tadlock (pictured on the left) and company will open Big 12 play on the road for the sixth straight season with a three-game series at Oklahoma (March 20-22) at L. Dale Mitchell Park in Norman.  You can see the entire schedule if you click on the link at the top of the article.
