Texas Tech Red Raider Basketball opens a two-game road trip tonight against Oklahoma. The Red Raiders are currently on a two-game losing streak, their second of the season.
The Red Raiders last time on the court lost to No.6 Kansas 60-46 on Saturday, but only trailed 27-25 at halftime. The Sooners defeated archrival Oklahoma State 77-68 last Saturday.
Texas Tech is led by Jaye Crockett with 14 points per game and leads the team in rebounds with 8.2 rebounds a game, all off the bench. The Sooners are led by 6-8 forward Romero Osby averaging 13 points and 6 rebounds a game.
The Red Raiders need to control the rebounding edge and convert on their high percentage shots, which have not come easy for them all season.
Sophomore forward Jordan Tolbert needs a big game as he is going through a sophomore slump only averaging 8 points a game, but coming up big on the boards with almost 6 rebounds a game.
