The Texas Tech women's basketball team beat Northern Colorado 68-41 in the first game of a double header at the United Spirit Arena on Sunday.

Casey Morris led the Lady Raiders in scoring with 18 points, including a season high five,3-pointers.  Christine Hyde contributed with 15 points and nine rebounds.  Chynna Brown rounded out the scoring with 12 points.  Tech shot 43.1 percent from the field, making 22 of 51 shots attempted.  With the win, the Lady Raiders' record improves to 8-1.

On the other side of the court, D'shara Strange led Northern Colorado in scoring with 11 points and five rebounds.  Lauren Oosdyke contributed with nine points.  Hannah Thornton rounded out the scoring with eight points.  The loss brings Northern Colorado's record to 2-6.

The Lady Raiders hit the road to take on Michigan State in the Las Vegas Holiday Hoops Classic on December 20th.  Tip off is at 4:30 pm.
