The Texas Tech Red Raider basketball team notched their third win of the 2014-2015 season last night as they beat Northwestern State by a final score of 75-64.  Robert Turner led the way for Tech in the win as he finished the game with 13 points.  The Red Raiders were able to hold on for a good win on Tuesday night by shooting 13 of 21 (61.9 percent) from the field and making 9 of 18 free throws in the second half.  They shot 14 of 35 (40 percent) in the first half and made 5 of 6 free throws.

Tubby Smith received a balanced offense beyond just Turner.  Devaugntah Williams scored 11 points, while Randy Onwuasor and Justin Gray added 10 points apiece.  This marks the second time the Red Raiders have had four double-digit scorers. The other came in their season-opening 71-59 win November 14th against Loyola (Md.).  The team's 17 assists were a season high as Onwuasor and Williams dished out four apiece.

The Red Raiders will be back in action this weekend as they will host the Air Force Academy on Sunday afternoon.  Tip off for this game is set for 1pm from the United Supermarkets Arena in Lubbock and can be seen on FOX Sports SW.
