The Billy Gillispie-era started off last night with a 76-70 come-from-behind win for Red Raider Basketball against Southwestern Oklahoma State at the United Spirit Arena.  At halftime the Red Raiders were behind 35-31. Tech took the lead, 50-49, with 12 minutes left by a Jaron Nash lay-up.

Javarez Willis led Tech with 22 points in the exhibition game win.   The game was close throughout because the Red Raiders turned the ball over 28 times and allowed 31 free throw attempts.

Other scoring leaders for Tech include Robert Lewandowski with 18 points and Jaron Nash with 11 points.  Red Raider Basketball has another exhibition game Saturday night, 7pm against Our Lady of the Lake at the United Spirit Arena.  Admission to Saturday's game is free.
