Texas Tech got the win thanks to their senior leadership as Mike Singletary and D’wayln Roberts led the way in the victory. Singletary claimed a season high 33 points and pulled down 10 while Roberts chipped in 16 points and 11 rebounds.

Also having solid games for the Red Raiders were seniors Brad Reese and John Roberson. Reese had 14 points and 8 rebounds while Roberson had a double double with 12 points and 12 assists.

The first road win on the season for Texas Tech improved them to 10-11 on the season and 2-4 in Big 12 play. The win also means the Red Raiders no longer have the worst record in conference play as they now belongs to those Cyclones who are 14-7 on the season but only 1-5 in Big 12 play.

The Red Raiders will look to build off of their first conference winning streak as they return to action on Saturday. Tech will open up a two game home stand by playing host to Oklahoma State on Saturday at 3 from the United Spirit Arena. The Red Raiders will then play host to Kansas on February 1st.
