Texas Tech Coasts to Win Over South Dakota State

Texas Tech Red Raider Basketball beat South Dakota State 68-54 Thursday night in the Second Round of the Progressive Legends Classic.

Texas Tech maintained their lead throughout the whole game, scoring their first basket off of the opening tip.

Jordan Tolbert led the Red Raiders with 19 points and 9 rebounds. Dusty Hannahs had 12 points in 34 minutes of playing time.  Hannahs also was one of the five starters for head coach Tubby Smith Thursday night.

With the win, the Red Raiders improved their record to 4-1. Their next two games are at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn as part of the Progressive Legends Classic.
