Texas Tech Defensive Coordinator Dismissed from the Program

The Texas Tech football program took a big hit on Thursday as the news broke via coachingsearch.com that defensive coordinator Matt Wallerstedt has been dismissed from the program. 

Now little news has been released on the reasoning behind this, but rumors are swirling and most of them are pointing to off-the-field issues both with his assistants.

Texas Tech is currently in their bye week as they begin Big 12 play next week when they travel to Oklahoma State.
