Texas Tech Falls to No. 19 Oklahoma State 3-0, Cowboys Win Series

Jonny Drozd threw 7 2/3 innings of shutout baseball, but it wasn’t enough as the No. 19 Oklahoma State Cowboys scored three runs in the 9^th off Tech relief pitching for 3-0 win Sunday.

OSU won the series two games to one winning Saturday and Sunday. Texas Tech won 5-2 on Friday night behind a complete game from Trey Masek.

Todd Ritchie went 2 for 3 at the plate in the loss for Tech who was shutout at home for the first time since last May against Missouri.

Tech falls to 22-26 on the season and 7-14 in the Big 12. Tech next hits the field for a Tuesday matchup with Dallas Baptist starting at 3 p.m. from Rip Griffin Park.
