Texas Tech Falls to TCU 2-1 in Pitchers Duel

Texas Tech Baseball fell to TCU 2-1 Sunday afternoon in the first of a two game series that was shortened due to inclement weather in the Fort Worth area. Duke von Schamann threw a complete game giving up two runs with only one run being earned. von Schamann retired the last thirteen TCU batters.

TCU took a  1-0 lead in the bottom of the 2nd inning off a ground out to the shortstop which scored Jerrick Suiter.
