Texas Tech Football Announces 2015 Season Opener Kickoff Time

The kickoff times for the first two Texas Tech Red Raider Football home games this season were announced on Friday.

The Red Raiders open the season Saturday, September 5th at 2:30 p.m. against the Sam Houston State Bearkats at Jones AT&T Stadium in Lubbock. The following Saturday the Red Raiders will host the Texas-El Paso (UTEP) Miners at 2 p.m.

Both games against the Bearkats and Miners will be televised by the Fox Sports Southwest regional network, but its unclear which of their outlets the games will be broadcast on.

Other set kickoff times for the 2015 season include the September 19th game on the road against the Arkansas Razorbacks for a 6 p.m. kickoff on ESPN 2 and Thanksgiving night on the road in Austin taking on the Texas Longhorns at 6:30 p.m. on Fox Sports 1.
