Texas Tech Football Fans Have the Chance to Bring ‘College GameDay’ to Campus This Summer

Texas Tech Athletics is asking Red Raider Football fans to try to bring ESPN College GameDay to Lubbock this summer.

Starting today and continuing through May 2, college football fans can vote online at www.GameDayVote.com.  The winning school from the online vote will have the College GameDay crew on campus to film promotional commercials during the summer.

ESPN's College GameDay has been to Lubbock one time.  It was before the November 2008 Tech-Texas game in which the Red Raiders beat the Longhorns 39-33 on Michael Crabtree's touchdown catch in the closing seconds of the game.
