Today's Texas Tech Football report is filed by 1340 The Fan's Rob Brennan

Texas Tech Football head coach Kliff Kingsbury has hit the ground running in his new job. Kingsbury said that he's working on getting all of his assistant coaches in place for the recruiting rush in January. Former Red Raiders Eric Morris (offense) and Kevin Curtis (defense) have already signed on to Kingsbury's staff.

Kingsbury also said he's had the chance to talk to a few of his former coaches over the past week, including Spike Dykes. "Coach Dykes was fired up for me," Kingsbury said. "He's a guy who gave me an opportunity and my scholarship (at Tech)."
