Texas Tech Football Signee Dee Paul Named 1A Defensive Player of the Year [VIDEO]

Texas Tech Red Raider Football signee Dee Paul has been named to the 1A All-State Team.

Paul was named Defensive Player of the Year by the Texas Sports Writers Association. Paul also was named to the first team offense as an athlete.

Paul, a 6 foot 190 pound defensive back, helped lead Munday to the 1A State Championship over Tenaha and a 15-0 record this past fall.

Paul signed a letter of intent earlier this month to become a student-athlete for the Red Raider Football and is expected to play defensive back.
