The Texas Tech Red Raider baseball team is NCAA Tournament bound for the first time in a decade as they were selected as the #2 seed in the Coral Gables Regional, hosted by Miami (Fla.).  Tech will be matched up against the #3 seed the University of Columbia (29-18) as they will make their tenth appearance all time at a regional tournament.

The other half of the regional bracket will feature the Miami Hurricanes (41-17) who is hosting a regional for the 24th time and will face fourth-seeded Bethune Cookman (26-31) at 6pm Friday, May 30th on ESPN3.

Texas Tech is 15-18 all-time in their nine NCAA Tournament appearances (1995-2002, 2004) while second-year head coach Tim Tadlock becomes just the second head coach in school history to lead the Red Raiders to the NCAA Tournament.  First pitch for this game is set for Friday, May 30th at 1pm from the University of Miami.
