Tubby Smith and the Texas Tech men's basketball team will face off against the University of Auburn on Wednesday night as they look for their fifth win of the young season.  The Red Raiders are coming off a comeback win over the Air Force Academy on Sunday by a score of 63-62.  As for Auburn, they come in with a 3-2 record as they are coming off at 71-69 win over Oregon State back on November 26th.  They are led by KT Harrell's 17.2 points and Cinmeon Bowers 15.2 points.

This game is part of the annual SEC/Big 12 Challenge as the Red Raiders lost to Alabama in Tuscaloosa, while Auburn lost to Iowa State in Ames last season.  "Anytime you have the opportunity to play in these types of series, it is a good thing," said Red Raider head coach Tubby Smith.  "The players get up to play against teams from the top conferences."  Tip off for this game is set for 8pm from the United Supermarkets Arena in Lubbock and can be seen on ESPN 3.
