Texas Tech (3-0, 0-0) will take on the Iowa State Cyclones (3-0, 0-0) at 6pm on September 29th for a telecast on Fox College Sports.

The announcement came Monday morning as both schools are off this week leading up to their Big 12 Conference opener for the 2012 season.

The Red Raiders are coming off a 49-14 victory over New Mexico this past Saturday which saw 702 yards of offense rolled up on the Lobos while the defense only gave up 129 yards of total offense.

The Cyclones are coming off a 37-0 victory over Western Illinois and currently have a two-game winning streak over the Red Raiders. Last season, Iowa State rolled into Lubbock and thrashed the Red Raiders 41-7 and in 2010 outgunned Tech 52-38 in Ames.

The Texas Tech defense has been the story of the season so far giving up only 160 yards per game and only yielding 3 points off of turnovers from the Tech offense.
