Texas Tech Lady Raiders Defeat Angelo State 81-45 in Exhibition Play

Texas Tech Women’s Basketball opened up exhibition play last night in San Angelo.

The Lady Raiders defeated Angelo State 81-45 as Mary Bokenkamp scored 14 points to lead Tech in scoring. 3 other Lady Raiders were in double figures in scoring. The Lady Raiders had 22 steals in the game against the their Division II opponents.

Bokenkamp hit her first four 3-point attempts from the field as Texas Tech raced out to a dominant 22-6 first half lead en route to a 41-22 halftime lead. Lauren Holt led the Angelo State Lady Rams in scoring with 12 points in 25 minutes of play.

The Lady Raiders shot 46% from the field and held the Lady Rams to 33% from the field.

Texas Tech women’s Basketball will face Metro State Sunday afternoon in Lubbock at the United Spirit Arena in their exhibition game of the season.
