The Texas Tech Lady Raiders swept their 5th Big 12 Conference opponent Wednesday night.

The Lady Raiders defeated the Oklahoma State Cowgirls 61-53. Chynna Brown scored 22 points to lead the Lady Raiders. Tech trailed 16-6 early in the game until the erupted on 29-6 run to take the lead for good.

The Lady Raiders led at the half 35-27 and would hold the Cowgirls at bay in the second half. Tech shot only 33% from the field, but made six three-pointers and forced 23 Cowgirl turnovers in the contest.

The Lady Raiders improve to 21-7 on the season and 11-5 in the Big 12 Conference. Oklahoma State falls to 19-9 overall and 8-8 in the Big 12. Tech can finish no worse than with a 3rd place tie in the conference.

Texas Tech takes to the court Saturday on the road at Kansas State.
