Texas Tech Lady Raider Basketball continued their slide losing a fourth consecutive game Saturday night. The Lady Raiders lost to the No. 14 Texas A&M Lady Aggies 79-51 in College Station dropping their record to 17-11 and 5-11 in conference play.

Adaora Elonu led the Lady Aggies with 14 points, Tyra White and Alexia Standish chipped in 13 points apiece in the blowout which all but sunk the hopes for the Lady Raiders making the NCAA Tournament. Tech won its first 12 games of the season and reached the Top 10, but have fallen into oblivion and 9th in the conference.

Texas Tech was led in scoring by Casey Morris with 15 points as they played without Senior Forward Kierra Mallard who was suspended for the game for a violation of team rules. Texas Tech takes on Oklahoma Wednesday night in Lubbock.

Tyra White and Alexia Standish scored 13 points apiece, Karla Gilbert scored 11 in a reserve role and Kelsey Bone had 10 points, 11 rebounds, five assists and three blocked shots for the Aggies (20-7, 11-5 Big 12). Texas A&M shot 59 percent, led by double figures beginning midway through the first half and held a 36-18 halftime edge in getting ready for its next game, Monday night at home against No. 1 Baylor.
