The No. 15 Texas Tech Lady Raiders took down the Western Kentucky Lady Toppers 75-38 last night in the United Spirit Arena. The Lady Raiders played their final home game of 2011 before 7,888 fans at the United Spirit Arena.

Tech (10-0) has its best start since the 2003-04 season. The Lady Raiders came out sharp shooting a season-best 53.3 percent from the field. Junior guard Casey Morris scored a team high 11 points while fellow Chynna Brown and Monique Smalls added nine points each. Sophomore Kelsi Baker also added nine points.

The Lady Raiders shook off Saturday’s sluggish performance in Chicago, where they held on for a 70-64 victory against Illinois. The Lady Raiders will head to San Diego next week for a pair of games at the Surf ‘N Slam tournament before hosting Oklahoma State to open Big 12 Conference play on Jan. 4.
