Texas Tech Lady Raiders to Wear Pink This Sunday Hosting Iowa State [VIDEO]
Texas Tech Lady Raider Basketball will be wearing pink uniforms in supporting breast cancer awareness on Sunday as they host the Iowa State Lady Cyclones. The “Play 4 Kay” and the Kay Yow Cancer Fund will be supported as all fans wearing pink to the game will get in for $5 along with the first 500 fans to the game will receive pink pom poms.
Play 4Kay is a chance women’s college basketball coaches to raise breast cancer awareness and funds for research on the court and across the country. The official charity is the Kay Yow Cancer Fund in partnership with The V Foundation and Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA).
Texas Tech will look to bounce back against the Cyclones who defeated them three weeks ago in Ames, IA 66-49. Tech currently sits at eighth in the Big 12 Conference at 16-7 overall and 4-7 in the league. The Lady Cyclones are 14-8 overall and 5-6 in conference. Tip off is set for 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.
